My first blog

Well, this is an experiment.
I've never blogged before. Never felt the urge. Never even a faint yearning.
And then - out of the blue - blogging becomes quite a big issue in my life, so I decide to take the plunge.
So here's my first blog, but of course, as it has no real substance, indeed no substance whatsoever, I think anybody reading even this far may deem it a tad lame.
